Our Visit to Kuala Lumpur
Kuala Lumpur is Malaysia’s capital and hub for culture and economy. We were so excited about our visit to Kuala Lumpur, this amazing city, and exploring its culture ourselves. What caught our eyes immediately is that this megacity is clean, the streets are well maintained, and it is so green!
All the different cultures that live harmoniously side by side here, make the city all the more interesting to us.
Compared to our time in Sumatra, it is so easy to get around. Most everyone speaks English and the transportation system is fully developed (they even have sidewalks here!!).
Many know Kuala Lumpur, or simply KL for short, as a stopover destination. But it is certainly worth staying longer than just a few days.
We decided to stay in this wonderful city for an entire month and rented an apartment in the Little India neighborhood of Bangsar.
So far we haven’t regretted our decision to spend a month here, and we also don’t think that it is wasted time.
Our daily routine feels nice and right to us. We don’t rush from sight to sight, but rather, we take our time for the things we enjoy doing.
This way we end up having time for sports, for swimming in the great pool in the building, or just for sleeping in and starting the day cozy relaxing on the couch with a cup of coffee.

Our days in KL
What might sound boring to some is the epitome of freedom for us.
We can do what and when we want to do it.
And what we have seen and experienced so far, is nothing short of wonderful!
We will update the different points step by step. So it is worth it to come back here every once in a while.
And no worries… the travel itinerary you see down below is not for 28 days.
You can also vary it and match it to your travel pace and time.
Oh, and yes.. 28 days… this is how long we will stay in Kuala Lumpur!
