Q Golf Club – The Ultimate Travel Golf Club

Q Golf Club – The Ultimate Travel Golf Club
Golf and Travel

Why Travelers Need a Lightweight Golf Solution

As full-time travelers who also love to golf, we constantly face the same challenge: how do you bring your clubs with you when your life fits into a backpack? We traveled with our golf bags and a full set of golf clubs from 2019 until 2024! It was not only expensive but also inconvenient and sometimes we had to change our route as it was impossible to travel with clubs.

That’s why the Q Golf Club instantly caught our attention. Imagine being able to play golf anywhere in the world without dragging a full set of clubs with you. One clever club that does the job of many? For us, this sounded like the perfect solution. We tried the Gen 1 club ourselves, and we can honestly say—it added a whole new layer of fun to the game. But it got better! Gen 2 came on the market!

A New Experience – Golfing with Just One Club

Menekse and her Q-Club

Playing with only one club felt like starting a brand-new version of golf. At first, we weren’t sure how it would go. We’ve both played plenty of rounds with full sets, and narrowing everything down to a single club seemed like it might be limiting. But the reality was just the opposite.

From the very first round, we discovered that the Q Golf Club makes the game lighter — No heavy carrying. Just one club, ready to adapt to each shot with a simple twist. It was liberating, and honestly, so much fun!

For us as lightweight travelers, it was like playing a “lightweight” round of golf. We enjoyed the game, the scenery, and the moment.

Compact Design That Fits Everywhere

What makes the Q Golf Club travel golf club so travel-friendly is its compact and smart design. It breaks down into two pieces, meaning it doesn’t need its own bulky bag. Instead of wrestling with a full set in airports, it simply fits into the trunk of a car, an overhead bin, or even tucked neatly into our travel luggage.

For us, this was a revelation. No extra baggage fees, no stress about whether our clubs would make it to the same destination as us, and no worries about how to store them once we arrived. When we wanted to sneak in a round on our travels, all we needed was our Q Club. And just like that, golf became a lot easier to blend into our nomadic lifestyle.

Versatility on the Course

The true brilliance of the Q Golf Club is its versatility. With a quick twist, you can switch between eight different lofts, covering almost your entire game in one go. From putter to lob wedge, it’s all there in one compact design.

Here’s what it covers:

  • 4° – Putter
  • 12° – Stinger (driving iron)
  • 20° – Hybrid
  • 28° – 6-Iron
  • 36° – 8-Iron
  • 44° – Pitching Wedge
  • 52° – Sand Wedge
  • 60° – Lob Wedge

When we first tried it, we couldn’t believe how easy it was to move between lofts. You hear a click when the head locks into place and you’re good to go. It was like a “real” club, not just a gimmick. And on the course, it proved itself. Whether we were driving, chipping, or putting, the Q had us covered.

From Travel Golf to Speed Golf

While we mainly use the Q Golf Club for travel, we quickly learned that many speed golfers love it too. And it makes perfect sense. With one club that covers everything, there’s no need to carry a heavy bag with clubs—you just keep moving and swinging.

We haven’t tried speed golf ourselves yet, but after seeing how much fun it could be with the Q, we might give it a shot one day. After all, a club that makes travel rounds easier could just as easily make a fast round more exciting.

Exceptional Performance from Q

Gen 1 vs Gen 2 – What’s New

We own the original Q Golf Club Gen 1, and it already impressed us with its design and usability. But the newer Q Golf Club Gen 2 takes things even further. It’s lighter, slightly more compact, and has clearer markings to make adjusting lofts even easier. The Gen 2 also includes haptic feedback, so you know exactly when the loft setting clicks securely into place.

For frequent travelers, the improved travel shaft with its strong connector makes packing and carrying even simpler. While we’re still very happy with our Gen 1, we can see why Gen 2 would be an even better choice for anyone starting fresh. It’s a natural evolution that keeps the same smart concept but refines it for even more convenience.

Why We Love the Q Golf Club

After using the Q Golf Club ourselves, here’s why it has earned a permanent place in our travel gear:

  • Lightweight travel solution – no more heavy golf bags or baggage fees.
  • Fun to play with – the novelty of just one club made us smile every round.
  • Compact and clever – fits in the trunk, carry-on, or tucked away in a travel bag.
  • Versatile performance – eight lofts cover nearly every shot we needed.
  • Great for different styles of golf – from relaxed travel rounds to fast-paced speed golf.
  • Perfect for beginners who aren’t ready to commit to a full set yet.
  • Upgrade potential – with Gen 2, it’s even more refined for today’s traveler.

For us, it’s more than just a golf club—it’s a way to keep playing the game we love, no matter where in the world we are. And that’s why the Q Golf Club really is the ultimate travel golf club.
